Christian's mission call!

Chris opened his call last night and thank goodness we were all sitting down! He is going to the Singapore mission. His mission includes Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Burnei, Bengladesh and Pakistan. He reports to the MTC on July 11th. We were all set on South America since the whole family speaks spanish...but the Lord works in mysterious ways. We are so proud of him. Chris turns 19 on friday!

Not only do we have good cheese and bread, but you'll have to admit that our public transportation is pretty good as well...when they are not on strike!

The funniest joke EVER!

THE joke of the century made it into the New York Times yesterday. I used to tell this joke over and over again a few years ago. I told it so many times that I wonder if I should be able to claim "droits d'auteur" (Copyright that is)!!!!! What do you think? If you don't think it's funny, you'll just have to call me and I will tell you the joke over the phone...for the small amount of $9.99 ONLY. But wait, for that price, you will also receive a second joke (the Apricot joke). But wait, if you call within an hour, you will receive my picture autographed. Ok, enough. Here's the link.

March 20th is International Francophone Day

It is time to get your bérets and your baguettes out of the attic! We are celebrating the International Francophone Day on March 20th. The events in the US are quasi nonexistent, so please do something even if it is eating a hot dog with French's mustard on it, or French vanilla icecream, or French toasts. How about making crepes! That's an easy one. But for all French bread lovers (that's about 99.9% of the world population), here is one of the best French bread recipe. It was given to us by Jane Bryner and my mother-in-law has been making it almost every day for the last 2 months. I promise you that you will not regret it and it takes almost no time.
A bientôt...

Remember...

It was in the fall of 2002 that I applied to BYU. Over 4 years ago and here I am, almost done... I wanted to come to BYU so badly. Since then, I have probably taken it for granted many times. And so this post will stay to remind myself and some of you that this place was such a beauty. I'll miss it with all that comes with it.

I am Bill Clinton

After reading my wife's blog on finding out who you are through silly tests, I decided to take the "What famous leader are you?"
Well, here's the answer...and that's just very unfortunate! Does that mean that Meredith should be Hilary Clinton?
